Every month, Protein Spotlight writes up a brief note on a novel protein, or family of proteins. Each flash describes the protein's function, spiced with an amusing anecdote, and readers will be directed to the Swiss-Prot databank entry for further information. Our aim? Yet a greater knowledge of the fascinating world of proteins. As for our second online magazine in French, Protéines à la Une, it was discontinued in January 2010. However, the site and its columns remain open to everyone.
