SIB Groups based in Lausanne are located at the SIB Central Administration, at the University of Lausanne and at EPFL.

The University of Lausanne hosts five groups in the Faculty of Biology and Medecine and one group in the Center of Integrated Genomics.

EPFL, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, hosts three groups in the School of Life Sciences, one in the School of Computer and Communication Sciences and one in the School of Basic Sciences.

The Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (LICR) hosts one group in Dorigny.
