Educational Board

The Educational Board helps to ensure that the exceptional quality of bioinformatics work is maintained in Switzerland.

The main objectives of the board are to:

• assist in the coordination of under-graduate education in bioinformatics
• promote bioinformatics at the high-school level and evaluate the quality of bioinformatics training.

• maintain the SIB PhD Training Network 
• provide professional bioinformatics courses and workshops
• cooperate on training with other institutions, such as the Netherlands Bioinformatics Centre (NBIC)
