Statistics for Biologists: real world examples

Friday June 26, 2009

During this workshop, concrete problems will be analyzed and statistical methods relevant for their analysis will be investigated. Topics such as appropriate statistical methods for experimental design, exploratory analysis, graphics, statistical analysis and presentation of the results will be discussed in detail.
For this workshop, we will look at the basic statistical methods that are most widely used. Other workshops can potentially be organized later for more advanced or more specialized problems.
